Louis R. Solomon, a cherished member of the community and a beloved family man, passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 76, due to complications from an illness. Born on November 17, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Louis was the son of Toufic J. Solomon and Phyllis M. Solomon. He was predeceased by his dear sister, Kathleen, and brothers, Toufic Jr. and Michael T. Solomon. Louis is survived by his devoted son, Sam Solomon, who will carry forward his father's legacy of kindness and service.
Louis spent his early years in Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1968. He then answered the call of duty by serving in the National Guard Reserve, a testament to his enduring spirit of commitment and service to his country.
Throughout his life, Louis had a diverse career, showing resilience and a strong work ethic in every endeavor. He eventually retired from the Town of North Andover Public Works Department, where he was admired for his dedication and integrity.
To those who knew him, Louis was more than a colleague or a family member; he was a true friend, always willing to lend a helping hand. His gentle nature and unwavering support were a source of comfort and strength to everyone around him.
