Louise Johnson, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at Parkview Randallia in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on August 17, 1942, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Louise was the beloved daughter of Eddie Lee Sr. and Willie Mae Buchanan. Louise's life was enriched by a deep love for her family and a genuine kindness that touched everyone she met. Known affectionately for her warm heart and generous spirit, she delighted in giving back to those around her. Louise had a special passion for buying gifts for her children and grandchildren, always eager to bring joy to their lives. She was a devoted sister, predeceased by her sister, Mary Calhoun, and her brothers, Eddie Lee Jr. and Sam Lee. Louise is survived by her loving sister, Eddie Mae Martin(Jimmy Martin), as well as her dear sister, Hattie Richardson. Her legacy lives on through her six children: Dharamdas Harris, Genghis Harris(Areva), Carleed,(Jessica) Harris, Mumtaz Harris, Azhar Harris, and Benny,(Paulette) Harris. Louise was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the sweet sound of her favorite music by Keith Sweat. In her spare time, Louise enjoyed socializing with friends, playing games like dominoes and bingo at the senior center, and indulging in her favorite TV shows. Her love for jelly beans was well-known, a small joy she savored throughout her life. Louise's life was a testament to the power of love and kindness. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
