Obituary of Lori Ann Pavek It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lori Ann Pavek, who left this world on June 27, 2026, at the age of 59. Lori passed peacefully in the comforting embrace of the Hospice Home in Milaca, Minnesota, after courageously battling cancer. Born on April 26, 1967, in Saints Paul, Minnesota, Lori's life was a testament to resilience, love, and devotion. Lori was the cherished daughter of Robert and the late Susan Pavek. Her life was enriched by her loving partner, Ronald Flaherty, and her beloved sons Nickalas (Kayla) and Luke (Brie), who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. She was the proud grandmother of three precious grandchildren: Bella Rose, aged 6, Emma Grace, aged 2, and Stella Ann, aged 1, who brought immense joy and warmth to her heart. Lori's life was a tapestry woven with vibrant threads of family, faith, and community. She was a sister to Stephen, Richard, Christopher, and Michael (Cara), and a beloved aunt to her nephews Carter, Brennan, Addison, and Jack Pavek. Her father, Robert Pavek, survives her, alongside her extended family, who will forever cherish her memory and the love she bestowed upon them. An alumna of Century Junior College, Lori found her true calling as a paraeducator in the Isanti Cambridge school system. Over two decades, she dedicated herself to nurturing young minds, earning the admiration and love of both staff and students. Her colleagues fondly remember her as an outstanding educator whose passion for teaching was matched only by her compassion and kindness. Lori's warmth extended beyond the classroom to her community and church, where she was a beloved member and a beacon of kindness. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she found great joy in teaching her granddaughter Bella Rose about Jesus and assisting her with schoolwork. Lori's spirit of generosity and her gentle nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Born prematurely at a mere 2 pounds 9 ounces, Lori was a fighter from the very beginning. Throughout her life, she exhibited a strength and determination that inspired all who crossed her path. Her unwavering courage during her battle with cancer was a testament to the resilience that defined her life. A service to honor and celebrate Lori's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Grace Gospel Church, located at 37126 M-65, Stanchfield, MN 55080.
