Loretta Bright July 6, 1942 – September 13, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and deep appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Loretta Bright, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Loretta left this world on September 13, 2026, surrounded by family and love in her cherished home. Born in Albany, Missouri, Loretta was the treasured daughter of John and Mary Riley. She was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering love, who nurtured her family with a gentle heart and a contagious smile. Her journey through life was marked by deep devotion to her family and her faith, which carried her through both joyous and challenging times. Loretta was predeceased by her loving parents, John and Mary Riley, her beloved son, Steven Groven, and her precious granddaughter, Michaela Frisch. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Bright, who stood by her side for many wonderful years. Loretta's legacy lives on through her children: Debbie (Jim Fletchall), Dianna (Lee Moad), Kathy (Brian Sherer), Cindy Frisch, and Michael Frisch. She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren, and her love and wisdom have also blessed 13 great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry her spirit forward. A woman of profound kindness, Loretta dedicated her life to her family and the community. Her home was always a place of warmth and welcome, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Loretta's passion for helping others extended beyond her family; she touched the lives of many through her volunteer work and generosity. In honoring her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing her family to celebrate her life in an intimate setting. Loretta's family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart, located in Memphis, TN. Loretta Bright's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and faith. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
