In Loving Memory

Lorenzo & Lauryn Lewis
December 26, 2006 — July 28, 2026
A FATHER AND DAUGHTER REMEMBERED
With profound sadness, we remember Lorenzo “Zoe” Torre Lewis and his beloved daughter, Lauryn Torell Lewis, whose lives were tragically taken on July 28, 2026, in a drunk-driving accident.
Lorenzo, 54, was a beloved father, grandfather, and veteran. He will be remembered for the love, strength, guidance, and memories he shared with his family. He leaves behind children and grandchildren, including Paige, Leo, Ty, and Princess, who will carry his memory and his love with them always.
Lauryn, 19, was a bright young woman and a proud Michigan State University student. She loved dancing, cooking, spending time with her nieces and nephews, being surrounded by family, smiling, and making everyone around her laugh.
Lauryn’s favorite color was yellow. When asked why, she would simply say, “It’s bright like me.” That brightness was a reflection of who she was—joyful, loving, and full of life. Her smile and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of everyone blessed to know her.
Though their lives were taken far too soon, Lorenzo and Lauryn leave behind a lifetime of love and memories that will never fade. A father and daughter, they now rest together, forever connected by the bond that could never be broken.
FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
May their memories bring comfort to those who loved them, and may the love they shared with their family continue to live on through every story, every photograph, every laugh, and every cherished memory.
Rest peacefully, Lorenzo and Lauryn.
You are deeply loved. You are forever missed.
And you will never be forgotten.
