She was predeceased by her caring parents, Leola and Joe Davis, and her beloved daughter, Stephanie Bridges, whose memories she cherished deeply. She is survived by her devoted children, who were the light of her life: Dianne Thomas and her husband Kenneth, Charles Jackson, and Ashley Jackson. Lorene's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her siblings, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her sisters, Mattie Thomas and her husband Willis, Linda Kennebrew and her husband Ramon, Mae Ola Davis of Albany, Georgia, Carolyn Clayton of Tallahassee, Florida, Earnestine Perry of Leesburg, Georgia, Mary Smith and her husband Chattom of Pelham, Georgia, Lillian Reddick and her husband Willie of Thomasville, Georgia, and Janice Lewis and her husband Oscar of Sylvester, Georgia, all cherished the bond they shared with her. Her brothers, Willie Davis and his wife Mary, Charlie Davis and his wife Kay of Camilla, Georgia, Joe A. Davis, III currently residing in Germany, Charles Davis of Valdosta, Georgia, James Davis and his wife Deborah of Baconton, Georgia, and Samuel Davis of Albany, Georgia, will forever remember her loving guidance and unwavering support.
Lorene's legacy is beautifully carried on by her seven grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild, who brought her endless joy and pride. Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and she poured her heart into nurturing their dreams and aspirations.
