Lonnie was the beloved son of Angela Cobbs and the late Lonnie Cobbs Sr. He carried his father's name with pride, embodying the warmth and kindness that defined their family legacy. Lonnie's life was a testament to the power of compassion and the beauty of creativity. Known for his radiant smile and his willingness to help others, he left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Lonnie cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his beloved daughter, who was the light of his life, his cherished grandson, his devoted mother Angela Daye, his caring sister Loretta Brooks, and his supportive brother Jeremy Cobbs. His extended family includes his dear aunt Loretta Jackson, and uncles Lawrence, Willie, and Martin Jackson. Lonnie's nephews, nieces, and a host of cousins will forever remember the joy he brought into their lives.
Though his professional journey was not detailed in the same way as his artistic endeavors, Lonnie's work ethic and dedication to his craft were evident in every endeavor he pursued. He was a high school graduate, and his education laid the foundation for the thoughtful and insightful person he became.
A celebration of Lonnie's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Pastor and his church members for their support during this difficult time.
