With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lolita Porter, who departed this world on May 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 11, 1962, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, PA, Lolita lived a life rich in love, laughter, and service, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lolita's journey began in Philadelphia, where she embraced life with an infectious spirit and a profound sense of empathy. She dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse, embodying compassion and dedication in her daily work. Her patients and colleagues alike were touched by her gentle kindness and unwavering commitment to their well-being. Beyond her professional achievements, Lolita was a woman of many passions. She found immense joy and solace in the world of music and movies, finding beauty and storytelling in every note and frame. Her love for these arts was only surpassed by her love for her cherished friends and family, with whom she shared countless moments of laughter and warmth. Lolita had an extraordinary ability to bring people together, creating a sense of community wherever she went. Lolita is survived by her two devoted brothers, Raymond and Antonio, who stood by her side with unwavering support and love throughout her life. Their bond was a testament to the strong familial ties that Lolita valued deeply, and her memory will continue to live on in their hearts. As we mourn the loss of Lolita, we also celebrate the vibrant, compassionate life she led. Her legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and an unyielding love for life and those around her. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit will forever remain in the melodies of her favorite songs, the warmth of family gatherings, and the hearts of everyone she touched. A memorial service to honor Lolita's life will be held on a date to be announced. We invite all who knew her to join us in celebrating her remarkable journey and the love she so freely shared. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lolita's name to a cancer research foundation of your choice, to continue the fight against the disease that took her from us too soon. Lolita Porter, a beacon of light and love, will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
