Lola Vivian Ramey "Boots" passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 88, having lived a life full of love, resilience, and devotion. Born on January 6, 1938, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Lola graced the world with her kindness and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Lola was the beloved daughter of Luster and Aquilla Dickey. Growing up in a close-knit family, she learned the values of compassion and community, which she carried with her throughout her life. Lola was predeceased by her cherished husband, Cledis Ramey, her dear sons Darren and Kenneth Ramey, her stepson Curtis Leakes, and her brother Cardell Harvey. Despite these profound losses, she remained a pillar of strength and support for her family. Lola's legacy continues through her surviving family members, who cherished her deeply. She leaves behind her devoted daughters, Treice Ramey, Angelle Ramey, and Jackie Ramey; her stepson, Charles Leakes; her brother, Lester Dickey; and her sisters, Adrevella Mondaine and Norma Thomas. Lola was also a proud grandmother to three grandsons and one granddaughter, and a great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her family also includes a beloved aunt, numerous nieces, and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory. A woman of faith, Lola was a dedicated member of the Central Rock Church of Christ, where she found solace and community. Her service will be held on August 26, 2026, at the church located at 1505 W. 18th Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114. It is here that friends and family will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and bid farewell to a truly extraordinary woman. Lola's family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer Fund, an organization close to her heart. Lola Vivian Ramey will be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and her enduring faith. Her legacy is one of kindness and resilience, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
