Born on January 6, 1940, in Tempe, Arizona, Lois lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family and faith. Lois was the devoted wife of the late Charles Hancock, and together they built a life centered around love and family. She leaves behind her sons, Roger Hancock and Wayne Hancock, who fondly remember her as a loving and supportive mother. Lois was also a cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren, Ryan, Trevor, Riley, and Madison Hancock, and a doting great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest pride, and her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she held dear. A woman of profound faith, Lois found comfort and strength in her relationship with God and was a dedicated member of her church community. Her life was a testament to the virtues of love, kindness, and devotion, and she leaves behind a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Lois's life on October 17th 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to Lois's heart. Donations can be sent to their office in Jacksonville, Florida, to continue the work that was so meaningful to her. Lois Hancock will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in their lives.
