April 7, 1935 — May 28, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Stallworth, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Lloyd left this world peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 91, surrounded by the comfort of his home in Queens, New York, seated in his favorite recliner—a place that brought him much joy and peace. Lloyd Stallworth was born on April 7, 1935, in the vibrant borough of Queens, New York. From a young age, Lloyd exhibited a curiosity and zest for life that would define his every endeavor. He met the love of his life, Pauline, and at the tender age of twenty-one, they embarked on a journey together that would span seven decades. Their marriage, lasting an extraordinary 70 years, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising six children who would go on to bless them with 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A dedicated professional, Lloyd devoted 30 years to the New York City public school system, shaping countless young minds and leaving an indelible mark on the community. He retired at the age of 51, eager to embrace the next chapter of his life. Retirement for Lloyd was an opportunity to indulge in his passions: fishing in the serene waters, watching classic westerns that reminded him of simpler times, and crafting cherished memories with his family. Lloyd’s commitment to his community extended beyond his professional life. As an active member of Rush Temple Baptist Church, he served faithfully on the men’s board until his final days. His dedication to his faith and his church family was unwavering, reflecting his generous spirit and compassionate heart. Those who knew Lloyd will fondly remember his quick wit and the warmth of his baritone voice, which could fill a room with laughter and love. His barbecue skills were legendary, often bringing family and friends together for joyous gatherings. He cherished playing card and bird games with his grandchildren, creating bonds that transcended generations. Lloyd is survived by his devoted wife, Pauline, their six children, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and humor. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain a guiding light in their lives. A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held on June 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Forster Funeral Home, located at 112-34 Guy R Brewer Blvd. The family extends an invitation to all who wish to honor Lloyd’s memory and celebrate his remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Rush Temple Baptist Church, in memory of Lloyd’s enduring commitment to his faith and community. As we bid farewell to Lloyd Stallworth, we hold onto the precious memories he has left behind. A loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend, he will remain forever in our hearts.
