Lloyd Alan Griffin, III

October 10, 1950 — August 10, 2026

Lloyd Alan Griffin, III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in the hospital surrounded by family. Born on October 10, 1950, in San Bernardino, California, Lloyd's life was a testament to love, dedication, and adventure. Lloyd was the cherished son of Lloyd and Darla Griffin. From a young age, he was driven by a deep-seated passion for life, which he carried into every endeavor. As a young man, Lloyd embarked on a career that saw him excel as a restaurant owner, real estate professional, and homebuilder. His work impacted not only the communities he served but also the many families who found homes and hospitality under his care. In every role he took on, Lloyd was known for his integrity and kindness. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his love for his family. Married to his devoted wife, Dolores, for 56 wonderful years, their union was a beacon of enduring love and commitment. Together, they built a family that is his proudest legacy. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Dolores, and his dear sisters, Carolyn and Lisa. He leaves behind his children, Lloyd Jasper and Chantel, Catherine and David, Amy, Elizabeth, and Timothy and Heather, who will forever cherish his memory and the lessons he imparted. His ten grandchildren—Nicolas, Jarron, Daniel, Valerie, Jack, Caleb, Jacob, Lexi, Lauren, and Ava—were his pride and joy, and he delighted in sharing his wisdom and stories with them. Lloyd was a man of many interests, most notably his love for the great outdoors. As an avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace and inspiration in nature's beauty. His green thumb was evident in the garden he tended with care, and he was an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement of the games he followed. A service to celebrate Lloyd's remarkable life will be held on October 10, 2026, at Calvary Chapel, Valley Springs. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man who touched so many lives with his generosity and spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Lloyd's commitment to helping others. Lloyd Alan Griffin, III, will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for his work, and his zest for life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
