Born on September 3, 1936, in the charming town of Ludlow, Mississippi, Lizzie was the daughter of the late Brown and Odessa Davis. Her legacy is one of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to family and community. In her early years, Lizzie's life was shaped by the warmth and closeness of her family. She was predeceased by her dear parents, her cherished daughter Sharon Perry, and her treasured granddaughters Latasha Perry and Patrice Homan. Despite these profound losses, Lizzie's spirit remained resilient and her heart open. Lizzie was fortunate to share her life with her devoted husband, Jessie Clark. Together, they built a loving home where family was always the center. Through this union, Lizzie welcomed two bonus children into her heart, expanding her family and the love that surrounded her. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Lizzie proudly retired from the Nestle Candy Company, where she made lasting friendships and contributed to the community. Her colleagues remember her for her dedication, kindness, and the joy she brought to their lives. Lizzie was a woman of simple pleasures. She found immense joy in gathering with family and friends, often over a friendly game of cards. Her laughter echoed through the room during these cherished moments. A lover of excitement, she was also an avid fan of WWE wrestling, cheering passionately for her favorite wrestlers. Lizzie's family was her greatest pride. She is survived by her loving daughter, Shirley Bester-Lark, her sister Deonie, and her brother Houston. Her legacy continues through her six granddaughters: Shame’ka (Coy), Theresa aka Money (Tony), Lakisha (Antwan), Lynzie (Toya), Jessica (Ryen), and Delicia (Brian). Her family tree flourished with love, including 10 great-grandsons: Adonis, William, Richard, Andre, Damonte, Patrick 3rd, Marquan, Robert Jr., Jaleel, Jailon, and 9 great-granddaughters: London (Kameko), Shalon, Sha Corya, Atish, Astazia, Kelsey, Journi, Ryen, Ja’ryeah. Lizzie also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. All who knew Lizzie are welcome to attend and share in the remembrance of her life and legacy, her repast will be held at her home.
