Born on January 12, 1961, in Florence, South Carolina, Liz was the beloved daughter of Mar and Fred Kelly. From a young age, Liz’s vivacious spirit and genuine warmth captured the hearts of those around her. Her life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the unyielding strength of family bonds. Liz was predeceased by her dear parents, Helen Dimery and Bernard Owens. Her memory will forever be cherished by her devoted husband, Bernard Owens, who stood by her side through every chapter of life with unwavering love and support. Together, they built a life rich with love and laughter, nurturing a family that became their greatest joy. Liz is also survived by her loving children, Kelly Cameron and Ginnye Cameron, who were the light of her life. She took immense pride in her daughters’ accomplishments and was their greatest cheerleader, offering guidance and wisdom with a tender heart. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Angel Cameron and Shawna Cameron, who brought her endless joy and happiness. Liz’s siblings, Peggy McKenney and Theresa Redden, shared a close bond with her, filled with cherished memories and a lifetime of love and support. Her life was further enriched by her dear friends Lisa Felton and William Handshaw, whose friendships brought laughter and companionship in abundance. Throughout her life, Liz was known for her generous spirit and tireless dedication to helping others. Her compassionate nature led her to contribute to various charitable causes, and her legacy of kindness will continue through the lives she touched.
