It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Williams, a beloved member of our community, who departed this life peacefully in her sleep on July 14, 2026, at the age of 58. Lisa was born on September 4, 1967, in Brooklyn, to her loving parents, Lewis Finch and Pearl Moultrie. Lisa was a woman of immense strength, kindness, and compassion. Her life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. She faced life's challenges with grace and dignity, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her warm smile and infectious laughter could light up any room, and her generous spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her. Lisa was predeceased by her cherished daughter, Shakea Williams, and her beloved son, Tracey Williams, both of whom she held in her heart every day. Despite these profound losses, Lisa's love for her family never wavered. She was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, Shawn, Michael, Jamell, Quymell, and Nigel, who reside abroad. Her nurturing presence also extended to her three precious grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Friends and family are invited to honor Lisa's life at a memorial service on July 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM at John’s Funeral Home, located at 546 Van Ducking Avenue. We gather to celebrate the remarkable journey of a woman who gave so much of herself to those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Lisa's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others in need. Lisa Williams will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the indelible mark she left on all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved children, and may her legacy of love continue to inspire us all.
