Born on October 13, 1958, to David and Gina Unger, Lisa spent her life enveloped in the warmth and love of her family and community.
Lisa married her devoted husband, Ricky Unger, on May 14, 1975. Their marriage, spanning over five decades, was a testament to their unwavering love and commitment. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising their cherished daughter, Tabitha Unger. Lisa's nurturing spirit and boundless love extended to her three grandchildren, including Angelina and Elizabeth Cook, and her two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
For 32 years, Lisa dedicated her professional life as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Hearts Compassion Medical Center. Her kind heart and gentle demeanor made her a cherished caregiver to countless patients. Colleagues and patients alike admired her dedication, and she was known for treating everyone with compassion and respect.
Lisa's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and kindness. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special, and her home was always a welcoming haven for family and friends. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
As we remember and celebrate Lisa's life, we hold dear the memories of her infectious laughter, her unwavering faith, and her boundless generosity. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory by embodying the values she held dear.
