It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Lisa Carol Murdoch Caperton on October 26, 2026. Lisa departed this world peacefully at her cherished home, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Born on April 29, 1963, in Elk City, Oklahoma, Lisa was the beloved daughter of the late Gary Murdoch and Brenda Tyler Murdoch Blackwell. Lisa was a vibrant soul, blessed with a beautiful blonde mane, a sweet smile, and an infectious ability to make everyone around her laugh. Her heart was as expansive as her talents, which she expressed through her love of gardening, crafting, sewing, and a passion for music, dancing, and shopping. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Lisa also had an eye for beauty and enjoyed selling beauty products, alongside her love for cooking and keeping a watchful eye on the weather. A proud graduate of Clyde High School and the Texas State Technical College's Dental Assistant Program, Lisa dedicated 27 years of her life to serving as an Administrative Dental Assistant at The Abilene State Supported Living Center, from which she retired with honor and the admiration of her colleagues. In 1994, Lisa married the love of her life, Jimmy Dan (Danny) Caperton, in a beautiful ceremony in Clyde, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and precious memories. Lisa's heart was eternally devoted to her family, and she was a cherished mother to her daughter, Elizabeth Caperton Brewster, and a proud grandmother to three grandsons: Wesley, William, and Wyatt Brewster. Her brother, Gregory Murdoch, and sister, Angie Murdoch, will forever treasure the memories they shared with their extraordinary sister. Lisa was a dedicated Christian and a member of The First Baptist Church in Clyde, Texas, where her faith and compassion for others shone brightly. Her love and generosity knew no bounds, extending beyond her family to everyone she met. In honor of Lisa's memory, the family kindly suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart. The Caperton family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who cared for Lisa, offering a special message: "Thank you to all that cared for Lisa… She is Resting On The Mountain, waiting for The Angels to come and take her To Heaven."
