April 2, 1966 — October 6, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa Ann Fuller McCoy, who left this world on October 6, 2026, at the age of 60 in the company of those she held dear, after facing an extended illness with grace and resilience. Born on April 2, 1966, in the serene landscapes of Tazewell County, Virginia, Lisa was a beacon of warmth and compassion, whose life was a testament to the strength of family and love. Lisa was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Helen Jessee Fuller, whose values and spirit she carried throughout her life. A loving mother, she is survived by her daughter, Brittany Burks, and two precious grandchildren, Brandi Burks and Braylen Burks, who brought immense joy and light into her life. Lisa's family was the core of her existence, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her brother, John (Doug) Fuller, and sister, Crystal Blankenship, along with several nieces and nephews, felt her unconditional love and support throughout their lives. She was a sister, aunt, and friend, always ready with a listening ear and wise counsel, her home a haven for family gatherings filled with laughter and cherished memories. Lisa's greatest joy was found in the company of her grandchildren and family. She was known for her ability to create a space of love and comfort, where stories were shared, and bonds were strengthened. Her gentle nature and kind heart left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Lisa's life on October 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Shortridge Ramey Funeral Home of Grundy, Virginia. As we gather to remember and cherish the memories of a life well lived, we are reminded of the enduring impact she made on each of our lives. Lisa Ann Fuller McCoy will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she so freely gave.
