Lipihner Diopulos

April 30, 1967 — June 29, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lipihner Diopulos, who departed this world on June 29, 2026, at the age of 59. Lipihner passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love and warmth of her cherished family. Born on April 30, 1967, in Kolonie, Micronesia, in the Federated States of Pohnpei, Lipihner was a beacon of love and joy from the very beginning. She was the treasured daughter of the late Kapus Diopulos and Lipihna Solomon Diopulos, who instilled in her the values of generosity and compassion. Lipihner was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: four sisters, Siwihder Alik, Elpihner Kalikidi, Etrihse Diopulos, Etrihna Diopulos; three brothers, Jacob, Pernis, and Camperson Diopulos, and her granddaughter, Malinda Etrivanna Lindley. Lipihner's memory will be lovingly cherished by her surviving family: her brother Dwight Diopulos, her children Etrihse (Dexter) Capelle, Griston (Irene Eliam) Diopulos, Lori-Ann Moura, and Melinda (Lein) Lucas. Her legacy continues through her 16 grandchildren—Max Oneai Pangelinan, Jayven (Erica Samuel) Diopulos, Cjhristian, Lucavi, Aldivine, and Etrivilae Moura; PJay Torres, Draimen, Jayrianna, Etrianna, Etrivionna, and Dray Capelle; Kayli Rose, Cecilia, and Kaycia Diopulos; and Lein Lucas Jr.—and her four great-grandchildren Kaizer Prince Diopulos, Xavier and Xander Torres, and Kenai Diopulos. Also among those who will carry her memory forward is her beloved Miora Renselinna Capelle, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lipihner was a proud graduate of Pohnpei Island Central School, class of 1985. Her professional journey began as an administrative assistant for the FSM Government, where her dedication and work ethic earned her respect and admiration. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lipihner was known for her love of music. Her powerful voice, with its remarkable range in several octaves, was a source of joy for many. However, her greatest joy in life was undoubtedly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and spoke of with unending pride and affection. A woman of immense kindness, Lipihner had a gift for making everyone she met feel welcome and valued. Her big heart and warm smile were her signatures, and her acts of kindness and generosity touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a lifetime of cherished memories. Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to celebrate Lipihner's life. A funeral service will be held on July 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Royal Heights Baptist Church, located at 2107 Utica St., Joplin, Missouri. Interment will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the special care and direction of Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematory.
