Raised by his dedicated parents, Ernest and Susie Davis, Linwood grew up with a strong sense of community and responsibility. Throughout his life, he carried these values with him, becoming a pillar of strength for those around him. Linwood was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Jimmy and Gus, his sister Susan Davis, and his nephew Kevin Davis, each of whom played a significant role in shaping the kind-hearted man Linwood became.
Linwood shared 47 remarkable years of marriage with his loving wife, Marjorie. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, supporting one another through life's many challenges and triumphs. Linwood's unwavering devotion to Marjorie was evident to all who knew them, and their bond was a source of inspiration for family and friends alike.
He was a proud and loving stepfather to Karen Bannerman, always offering guidance and support as she navigated life's journey. Linwood's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Tiqwesha Banks, Aariyon Ringer, and Jakaia Ringer, and his three great-grandchildren, who were the lights of his life. He delighted in their accomplishments and was always eager to share stories of their achievements.
Linwood's warmth and generosity extended beyond his family, touching the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. His kindness, humility, and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of many, and his memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.
