It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linea Keiosha Patterson on August 14, 2026, at the age of 39. Born on February 24, 1987, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Linea was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend whose presence brought light and love to all who knew her.
Linea was the cherished daughter of Annette and Lindsay Keith Patterson and the beloved sister of Lindsay. Her journey through life was marked by her exceptional dedication and passion for both family and personal achievements. She was a proud alumna of Eastern Regional High School, where her academic excellence earned her a place in the Viking Chapter National Honors Society. Linea was an active member of the girls' basketball and track teams, which showcased her spirit and determination.
Pursuing higher education, Linea attended the University of Delaware, where she studied Engineering. Her academic pursuits laid a foundation for a career that was diverse and impactful. As an administrative co-founder of Playworkz Early Care and Learning Center, the family business, she demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit. Later, she transitioned into a successful career in commercial risk management, where her quick wit and strategic mind excelled.
Fifteen years ago, Linea married the love of her life, Leon. Together, they built a beautiful life in Delaware, raising their four sons, Leon, Lincoln, Loyal, and Luciano. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was deeply committed to nurturing and guiding her boys with love and wisdom.
Linea's vivacious personality was infectious. She had a talent for planning memorable parties and relished taking trips with loved ones. Her affection for animals was evident in her love for dogs, and she shared a special bond with the family pet bird. Linea's creative spirit found an outlet in her interest in photography, and she spent many joyful hours capturing life's precious moments. She also had a penchant for watching movies and indulging in cooking shows, which she often shared with family and friends.
Known for her warm smile and generous heart, Linea was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her kindness and empathy touched the lives of many, and her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in Linea's memory. Her spirit of giving and care for others will continue to inspire and support through these contributions.
