With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of Lindsey Griffin, Born on March 13, 1997, in Jackson, Mississippi, Lindsey was a cherished member of our community whose presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Lindsey was the beloved son of Lindsey and Yolanda Griffin, who provided him with a foundation of love and support that he carried throughout his life. He is predeceased by his cherished grandmothers, Brenda A Bolden and Mary L Johnson, grandfather Lindsey Griffin Jr., and great-grandfather Lindsey Griffin Sr. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will continue to be felt by those who survive him: his devoted fiancée, Kelly Hannah; his brother, Michael A Brumfield; two aunts, Luticia and Josette Griffin; four uncles, Eddie Bolden, James Bolden, Anthony Bolden, and Andre Griffin; his niece, Neva Brumfield; his nephew, Davion Brumfield; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Lindsey was a proud graduate of Job Corps in Gulfport, MS, where he earned his high school diploma. His career took him through various roles in the fast food industry, where his work ethic and friendly demeanor made an impact on both colleagues and customers alike. Beyond his professional life, Lindsey was a devoted member of Christ The Redeemer Church of The Living God under the guidance of Pastor Carlos and First Lady Thompson. His faith and dedication to his church were central to his life.
Lindsey had a passion for sports and music, and he found true joy in being surrounded by his family. His ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued was a rare gift that endeared him to many. Whether he was cheering for his favorite sports team or sharing a song that touched his heart, Lindsey's infectious smile and warm spirit filled every room he entered with light.
A memorial service to celebrate Lindsey's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Christ The Redeemer CLGI, located at 318 Commerce Street, Gulfport, MS 39507. Family, friends, and all whose lives Lindsey touched are invited to join in honoring his memory and celebrating the profound impact he made during his time with us.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Lindsey's memory, as a way to continue his legacy of kindness and generosity.
Lindsey Griffin will be remembered for his loving nature, his unwavering faith, and his compassionate spirit. Though he has left this earthly realm, his memory will remain in our hearts forever, a testament to a life well lived and a love that will never fade.
