It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Lindsay Scott Biathrow, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on June 16, 1947, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lindsay departed this world on July 18, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Lindsay was the beloved son of the late Lindsay S. and Laura E. Biathrow. He grew up in a home filled with warmth and love, laying the foundation for the compassionate and dedicated man he would become. Lindsay was a proud graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington, MA, class of 1965, and Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA, class of 1970.
On August 31, 1968, Lindsay married the love of his life, Beth Henry. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, celebrating 58 wonderful years of marriage. Lindsay’s dedication to his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved wife Beth, daughter Amy B. Hood and her husband Eric, son Scott S. Biathrow, and sister Lynne E. Band. He was the proud grandfather to Callum and Mia Biathrow and Benjamin and Nathan Hood, who brought immense joy to his life.
Lindsay spent his career working on various construction projects across Cape Cod, where he was known for his hard work, integrity, and craftsmanship. Beyond his professional life, Lindsay was a longtime member of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church, where he attended for 46 years. His faith was an integral part of his life and guided him in his interactions with everyone he met.
Lindsay was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsay S. and Laura E. Biathrow. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Lindsay’s memory.
Lindsay will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories of his family and friends, and his impact on their lives will never be forgotten.
