Linda Wisniewski

December 3, 1950 — March 27, 2018

Linda Wisniewski, a beloved daughter, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her home on March 27, 2018, at the age of 67. Born on December 3, 1950, in Lorain, Ohio, Linda graced the world with her gentle spirit and warm heart from the very beginning. Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Edward Sr. and Mary (nee Pavlich) Wisniewski, who instilled in her the values of kindness and community that she carried throughout her life. She grew up in Lorain, where she attended Lorain Admiral High School, graduating with the class of 1969. Linda's intelligence and curiosity were evident from a young age, and her commitment to learning remained with her throughout her life. A devoted member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Linda found strength and solace in her faith. Her church community was like an extended family, and she was often seen volunteering for church events and offering a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her faith was a guiding light, and she lived by its principles in her everyday actions. Linda had a passion for NASCAR and could often be found enthusiastically discussing the latest races and drivers with friends and family. Her love for the sport was infectious, and she enjoyed sharing this interest with those around her. In addition to her love for NASCAR, Linda was an avid online shopper, always on the lookout for unique finds and treasures. Her keen eye for detail and style was admired by many. Above all, Linda cherished her family. She was a devoted sister to her surviving siblings: Edward Wisniewski, Robert Wisniewski, and Laura Dennison. The bond she shared with them was unbreakable, and she found immense joy in spending time with them, sharing stories, laughter, and love. Though she did not have children of her own, Linda was an attentive and loving aunt, creating lasting memories and imparting wisdom to the younger generations. Linda's life, though unexpectedly cut short due to an injury, was full of love, laughter, and warmth. She touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness and generosity. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a beacon of love and light, whose presence enriched their lives. As we bid farewell to Linda, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. A funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, where we will gather to honor Linda's life and the indelible mark she left on us all. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Linda's memory. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
