Born on August 23, 1945, in Indianola, Mississippi, Linda was a beacon of strength and love to all who knew her. Linda was the cherished daughter of the late John and Gladys Jones. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Willis Williams, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Linda is survived by her loving family, who were the center of her world: her sons Steve Jones, Robert Floyd, and Victor Floyd, and her daughters Dominique Floyd and Lakendria Williams, all residing in Indianola, Mississippi. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Veronica Hillie and Princess Jones, who brought immense joy to her life. Her sister Clemetta Williams and brother Henry Williams will forever cherish the memories of their dear Linda. Linda worked diligently as a janitor until her health no longer allowed it, embodying a work ethic and dedication that inspired those around her. Her passion for cleanliness was more than just a job; it was a testament to her character and the pride she took in all she did. Beyond her work, Linda found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always open, a place of warmth and laughter where countless memories were made. A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hayes Chapel, located at 407 Front Ave, Indianola, MS 38751. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Linda's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.
