Linda Weil

March 18, 1949 — October 17, 2026

Linda Weil, a woman whose life was defined by her wit, dedication, and boundless curiosity, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 18, 1949, in Denver, Colorado, Linda's journey was one of love, laughter, and endless learning. Linda was the daughter of the late George Washington Weil and Phyllis Ivalu Weil. She was a member of the First Avenue Presbyterian Church, later connecting with South Presbyterian and most recently, Central Christian Church of Denver. Her faith and community were constants in her life. Linda worked several years at May-D&F, before going to work for the Colorado Department of Health, then as assistant to the Director of Experiential Programs at the Colorado University School of Pharmacy. She retired in 2006. Colleagues admired her quick wit, a trait she inherited from her father, and her unparalleled ability to remember even the smallest details, which made her an invaluable asset. Linda's love of knowledge and history sent her on numerous adventures across Europe, traveling alone to explore new cultures and expand her horizons. Her home was a testament to her passion for learning, filled with a vast and varied book collection that spoke to her insatiable curiosity. Her family remembers Linda as the most organized person they ever knew, yet her serious nature was balanced by a rich sense of humor and an ability to bring joy to those around her. Linda is survived by her sister, Judy Larson, and her husband Don; her nephew, Scott Larson, and his wife Robyn; their son Michael, her beloved great-nephew; niece Becky Kuhl and her husband Troy; and their children, Kylie and Kobe. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Atlee Home Care and Berkley Hospice for their compassionate care during Linda's courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. The support provided by these organizations was invaluable. In memory of Linda Weil, the family suggests donations to Berkley Hospice, honoring her life and the dedicated care she received. Linda's legacy of love, laughter, and learning will be cherished by those who knew her. Her humor and unique personality will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
