Linda Wallace, a beloved mother, grandmother, and respected member of her community, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on February 20, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama, Linda was the cherished daughter of Jimmy and Rhonda Wallace. Her life was one of unwavering faith, selfless service, and boundless love, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Linda's journey of service began at Alabama A&M University, where she pursued her passion for helping others. Her dedication and hard work culminated in a fulfilling career as a dentist, through which she touched the lives of many with her gentle care and professional excellence. Her patients benefited not only from her skill but also from her kindness and genuine concern for their well-being. Linda's reputation as a compassionate and dedicated caregiver earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and community alike. A devoted member of St. John AME Church, Linda's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found strength and joy in her relationship with God and in the fellowship of her church family. Her actions reflected her deep faith, as she extended kindness, encouragement, and a warm smile to everyone she encountered. Linda's generosity knew no bounds, and her ability to make others feel welcomed and valued was a gift she shared freely. Linda's legacy is carried on by her beloved daughter, Elithia Flemmon, and her treasured grandchildren, Da'Martys Williams and Nicholas Shaffer. She also leaves behind a host of close family members and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her love and compassion. A service celebrating Linda's life will be held on July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John AME Church, located at 708 15th St N, Birmingham, AL 35203. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much to others. As her family reflects on the loss of their beloved Linda, they find solace in the knowledge that her life was a beautiful testament to love, faith, compassion, and service. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she impacted and the values she instilled in those who knew her.
