It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Taylor. Linda departed this life on May 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unyielding spirit. Born on January 13, 1960, in the warm embrace of Hope, Arkansas, Linda was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Pecolla Taylor. Her life, though adorned with challenges, was a testament to her unwavering determination and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Linda was a beacon of light, known for her infectious laughter and her love for bringing people together. She had a natural ability to create joy and laughter, and her home was often the heart of many gatherings where music, stories, and laughter filled the air. Her disability did not define her; instead, she defied it with grace and courage, living her life to the fullest and inspiring those around her to do the same. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ralph and Pecolla Taylor, and her dear siblings: Georgia Mixon, Irene Taylor, Hazel McGhee, Wilma Bell, Janice Taylor, Gentry Taylor, Willie James, and Leon Taylor. The family takes solace in knowing that Linda is now reunited with them, enveloped in their love once more. Linda leaves behind her devoted brother, Melvin Taylor, who will carry forward the cherished memories of their shared childhood and the bond they forged. She also leaves a multitude of nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts as a beloved aunt who was always ready with a smile and open arms. Her memory will be celebrated at a service on June 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Abel Funeral Home, located at 1627 N 51st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85035. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather in remembrance of Linda’s beautiful life. In these trying times, the family of Linda Taylor wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming care, concern, and love that has been bestowed upon them.
