Linda Sisler (née Krankenberg) July 6, 1946 – July 5, 2026 With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Linda Sisler, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who left this world peacefully on July 5, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, surrounded by her loving family. Linda courageously battled complications from a stroke, showing the same strength and grace she demonstrated throughout her life. Born on July 6, 1946, in the close-knit community of Ellinwood, Kansas, Linda was the beloved daughter of Earl and Louise Krankenberg. She was preceded by her parents, her sister Sally Shipman, her brother Manfred, and numerous aunts and uncles who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into their heavenly embrace. Linda shared a beautiful life with her husband, Jake Sisler, whom she married on August 19, 1972. They were on the cusp of celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Together, they built a family and a legacy of warmth, kindness, and joy. Linda's life was enriched by her children, Pam Pitzulo (Joey) and Steven Sisler (Jenni), her sister Rosie Rein, several nieces, a nephew, several brothers in laws and sisters in law as well as extended family and and her nine adored grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them knew no bounds. Linda found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life—cherishing moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, riding her Goldwing motorcycle, with her husband Jake and enjoying the serenity of boating. Her family invites all who knew and loved Linda to join in a celebration of her remarkable life. A service will be held on August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the River House, located at 6487 Henderson Rd, Lowndesboro, AL 36752. It will be a time to share stories, laughter, and tears, in honor of a woman who touched so many lives with her warmth and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Linda's memory, as a reflection of her generous spirit and her unwavering dedication to helping others. Linda's legacy is one of love, strength, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we celebrate her life, we hold onto the wonderful memories and the lessons she imparted, forever grateful for the time we had with her.
