March 31, 1942 — April 18, 2026

Linda Roberts, a beloved matriarch, devoted servant, and joyful spirit, passed peacefully from this world on April 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on March 31, 1942, in Hanford, California, Linda was the cherished daughter of Laro and Maxine Herron and a treasured sister to her late brother Kenneth. Linda's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She graduated from Hanford High School in 1960, a milestone that marked the beginning of a journey filled with perseverance and grace. With some college education, she embraced a life where she wore many hats, working multiple jobs to ensure her family was provided for, demonstrating a resilience that would define her legacy. In 1960, Linda married Larry Moore, a union that blessed them with four wonderful children: Lynn, Larry, Lori, and Leslie. Though they spent a decade together, their bond brought forth a lineage that would continue to grow and thrive. In 1986, Linda found profound joy in marrying the love of her life, Travis Roberts. Their time together, though brief until his passing in 1990, was marked by deep love and companionship that forever warmed her heart. Linda's career was a testament to her dedication and work ethic. She served as a bookkeeper for her church and worked at Young's Supermarket, retiring after a remarkable 30-year tenure. Yet, her heart was always with those in need. She volunteered tirelessly on mission trips to the Philippines and Bangladesh, and her compassionate spirit led her to minister to women incarcerated in local prisons. Linda's life was a beacon of hope and encouragement, always eager to share her faith and the goodness of her God with all she encountered. A woman of profound faith, Linda was an active member of the First Jesus Name Church of Cameron Creek in Farmersville. Her church family, an extension of her own, was central to her life. Her welcoming embrace was felt by all who entered the church doors, greeting each visitor with warmth and love, reflecting her deep commitment to her faith. Music was the melody of Linda's heart. She found immense joy in singing, whether at churches, funerals, weddings, or family gatherings. As a member of Faith Harmony, Peacemakers, and The Herron Brothers, her voice was a gift she shared generously. Her grandchildren will forever cherish her sweet renditions of "Happy Birthday" sung with love on their special days. Linda is survived by her beloved children: Lynn and Cassie Moore, Larry and Kathy Moore, Lori Moore, and Leslie and Michelle Moore. Her legacy extends through her grandchildren: Mellissa Schultz and her husband Tim, Mark Moore and his wife Melanie, Amanda Ficher and husband Manny, Michele Shuler and husband Steve, Sarah Maness, Justin Maness and wife Misty, Tim Roberts and wife Brenda and Joshua Moore, Matthew Moore and Jennifer Moore and countless other grandchildren and great-grandchildren who continue to carry forward her spirit and values. Her church family and friends, who meant the world to her, also mourn her passing. As we gather to celebrate Linda's life, we invite you to join us on April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the First Jesus Name Church of Cameron Creek, located at 29076 Farmerville Blvd, Visalia, CA 93292.
