Linda was born on September 14, 1951, in Houston, Texas, and lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service. She passed away on September 6, 2026. The daughter of Marty and Ruby Mueller, she was raised in a household that valued compassion, a trait she carried with her throughout her life. A proud alumna of Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska, Class of 1973, Linda dedicated 39 remarkable years to shaping young minds as a Lutheran school teacher. Her commitment to Christian education and her nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path, from her students to her colleagues. On June 14, 1975, Linda married the love of her life, Paul Noyd. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter, welcoming their son, Matthew Schuyler Noyd, into their family. Linda's nurturing nature extended to her family, where she was not only a devoted wife and mother but also an outstanding chef and hostess, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with the aroma of her culinary delights. Linda's kindness and generosity were the hallmarks of her character, endearing her to friends and family alike. Her legacy of love continues through her surviving family: her husband, Paul; her son, Sky, and his wife, Megan; and her two cherished grandchildren, Jackson and Cameron, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy (Harvey); her brother, Ron (Janet); and her brother, Rick (Sue-Ella); as well as Paul's sisters, Margie (Mark) and Chrissi, and many nieces and nephews. In honoring Linda's memory, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and desire to help others. The family also extends a special message of gratitude to Jackson’s Place in Dallas, recognizing the support and care provided. A special thank you to Bonnie and Rick Brown for their above-and-beyond help and guidance.
