May 20, 1951 — March 19, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda Mae Kaquatosh, who departed this life on March 19, 2026, at the age of 74. Linda left us suddenly at Theda Care Regional Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin, surrounded by her cherished family and lifelong friends, a testament to the love and warmth she fostered throughout her life. Linda was born on May 20, 1951, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Edwin and Virginia (Welch) Paulson. From a young age, Linda's spirited nature and compassionate heart shone brightly. She graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1967 and embarked on a path of service and care that would define her life and legacy. In April of 1970, Linda married the love of her life, Louie Kaquatosh. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising their children—Jay Zink, Jayme & Tom Higgins, Trista Kaquatosh, Louis (Bear) Kaquatosh, and Cody Kaquatosh—with a foundation of kindness and strength. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Jordan, Katie Sue Shepard, Shania & Ty Stevens, Josiah Kaquatosh, Olivia (Leo) Davis, and Mariah Davis, and her great-grandchildren, Oden Stevens and Mathis Kaquatosh, who will carry forward her enduring legacy. Linda’s journey in life was one of dedication and service. After becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1990, she devoted herself to caring for those with special needs, founding her own business, Our Family Homes, where she cared for her clients as if they were her own family. Her commitment to others was further exemplified by her active role at Waushara Community Church, where she shared her wisdom and faith as a Sunday School teacher. A woman of many talents and interests, Linda loved to crochet, play cards, and immerse herself in music that carried a special message. Her membership in the Ladies Monday Night Pool League at Billy B's was a testament to her spirited nature and her love for camaraderie. Linda's quick wit and infectious humor left lasting impressions on everyone she met, and her readiness to share advice, coupled with her kind-hearted nature, made her a beloved confidante and friend. Linda was predeceased by her devoted husband, Louie Kaquatosh; her parents, Edwin and Virginia Paulson; her siblings, Melanie Shepard, Earl Paulson, Harold Paulson, George Paulson, and Carol Culver; and her dear grandchild, Baby Jay. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings Joann Labbs, Larry & Dalene Paulson, and Russell Paulson, and many nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory. A service to celebrate Linda's remarkable life will be held at Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home, located at 116 S. Adams Ave., Berlin, WI 54923. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and medical staff at Theda Care Regional Hospital for the extraordinary care and support provided during our most challenging time. We are also deeply thankful to Linda's long-time friends, Cheryl Wilson, Ranay, and Jessica, whose unwavering support has been a beacon of comfort and love. Linda Mae Kaquatosh will be remembered as a beacon of love, compassion, and strength. Her legacy of kindness and dedication to others will continue to inspire and guide all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
