It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Mae Kaquatosh, who left this world on March 19, 2026. Linda departed peacefully at ThedaCare Regional Hospital in Appleton, WI, surrounded by her loving family and cherished friends. She was 74 years old.
Linda was born on May 20, 1951, in Oshkosh, WI, to Edwin and Virginia (Welch) Paulson. She was the loving wife of the late Louie Kaquatosh, with whom she shared a beautiful life since their marriage on April 8, 1970. Linda is predeceased by her beloved husband Louie, her parents Edwin and Virginia, her siblings Melanie, Earl, Harold, George, and Carol, and her dear grandchildren, Bady Jay and Spencer
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda is survived by her children: Jay, Jayme & (Tom), Trista, Louis (Bear), and Cody. Her legacy lives on in her 15 grandchildren: Jordan, Katie Sue, Blake, Nevaeh, Tianna, Shania, Josiah, Olivia (Leo), Mariah, Kaydence, Tashenarose, Alexzander, Osroe, Donivan, Corey, and as well as her 7 great-grandchildren: Liam, Lianna, Laylani, Itzamara, Oden, Mathias, and Ayden. Linda is also survived by her siblings, Joann Labbs, Larry Paulson, and Russell Paulson, along with many nieces and nephews.
Linda graduated from Oshkosh West High in 1969 and began her career as a waitress. In 1990, she pursued her passion for helping others by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her dedication to service continued as she proudly served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Waushara County, where she devoted herself to caring for those with special needs. Her commitment to care and compassion led her to establish her own company, Our Family Homes, providing a nurturing environment where she treated each individual like family.
A woman of faith and community spirit, Linda was a member of the Waushara Community Church, where she shared her love for teaching as a Sunday School teacher. She was also a cherished member of a women's Monday night pool league for Billy B's and then First Chance Last Chance
Linda's vibrant spirit and love for life shone through in her hobbies. She found joy in crocheting beautiful creations, playing cards with friends, and listening to music that resonated with her soul. Known for her quick wit and infectious humor, she left lasting impressions on everyone she met. Her kindness and readiness to offer advice made her a beloved confidant to many.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Waushara Community Church, N2126 22nd Ave, Wautoma, WI 54982.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and medical staff for their comforting and supportive care during this difficult time. Special thanks to long-time friends Cheryl, Ranay, and Jessica for their unwavering support and comfort.
