Linda Kunz

June 23, 1945 — September 20, 2026

Linda Kunz, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on June 23, 1945, in Ashland City, Tennessee, Linda was the cherished daughter of Earl and Mary Morris. Her life was a testament to love, family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. Linda spent her early years in Ashland City, where she developed a lifelong passion for flowers and gardening. With hands that crafted beauty from the earth, she transformed every garden she touched into a vibrant tapestry of color and life. Her innate ability to nurture plants was a reflection of her generous spirit and the care she showed to those around her. Her home was not only a sanctuary of greenery but also a gathering place filled with warmth and laughter. Linda's life was enriched by her 20-year marriage to her beloved husband, Ronald Kunz. Together, they journeyed through life's many seasons, supporting one another with unwavering devotion. Their bond was a testament to the strength of love and partnership, a legacy that Linda cherished deeply. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Ronald, her parents, Earl and Mary Morris, her sister, Evelyn Nash, her sister, Peggy Tuck, and her brothers, William Morris and Earl Junior Morris. Despite these losses, Linda drew strength from her family and found immense joy in her role as a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her three devoted children: Tim Hibdon, Eric Hibdon, and Holly Hakanson, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Linda was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren—Mackenzie Blair, Josie Hakanson, Hannah Hakanson, Andrew Hakanson, Alyssa Cooper, and Landon Sircy—each of whom held a special place in her heart. Linda's life will be celebrated on November 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Cloyd's Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 595 W Division St, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. Friends and family are invited to gather in her memory, to honor a life that was as beautiful and nurturing as the gardens she so loved. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Linda's memory to a cause that was dear to her heart. Her legacy will continue to blossom in the lives of those she touched and the gardens she cherished. Linda Kunz will be remembered for her loving nature, her gentle spirit, and the beauty she brought into the world.
