Linda Jean (Davidson) Clark
November 30, 1962 — October 11, 2026
Linda Jean Davidson Clark, a cherished soul whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew her, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, at Northwestern Medical Kishwaukee Hospital after a brief illness. Born on November 30, 1962, in Aurora, Illinois, Linda's life was marked by love, laughter, and a profound kindness that touched everyone she met.
Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Elliott Bud Davidson and Billie Sue (Smith) Henry, who instilled in her the values of compassion and generosity. She carried these virtues throughout her life, creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family and friends.
Linda shared her life with her husband, John Clark. Together, they raised their two children, Sarah and Johnny in Lee, Illinois. Linda was a dedicated mother who delighted in the accomplishments and joys of her children, and her love knew no bounds.
Linda's heart expanded even more with the arrival of her granddaughter, Lily, who brought immense joy and warmth into her life. Linda cherished every moment spent with Lily, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Linda is survived by her husband, John; her daughter, Sarah; her son, Johnny; and her adored granddaughter, Lily. She also leaves behind her sister, Angela Svoboda, and brother-in-law, James Svoboda, of Aurora, Illinois; her brother, Clifford Henry, and sister-in-law, Brenda Henry, of Ravenden, Arkansas. Linda was blessed with an extended family of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces, and great-grand-nephews, all of whom she adored and held close to her heart.
Linda was a warm light, making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her home was always open, and her heart was always ready to listen and show support.
Although Linda may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
