September 5, 1940 — July 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Hill, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on July 13, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on September 5, 1940, Linda was the cherished daughter of Charles and Mayme Mallory. Her life was a testament to love, family, and friendship, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Linda's journey began with a loving upbringing, alongside brothers Bob, Lynn and Charles Mallory, where she learned the values of kindness and compassion that she carried throughout her life. She was united in marriage to Dave "Tootie" Hill on September 20, 1956, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising three wonderful sons: Perry (Bobbi) Hill, Seth Hill, and Jason (Gina) Hill. Linda was a devoted homemaker, whose greatest joy came from nurturing her family. Her gentle spirit and quiet strength were the cornerstones of her household. She found solace and beauty in her garden, tending to her flowers and birds with the same care and devotion she showed her family. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jeri (Evan) Eastman, Mallory (Dustin) O’Dell, Keisha Hill, Nick Hill, and Nathan Hill, and her precious great-granddaughter, Karoline Eastman, all of whom she adored and cherished. Linda was a great treasure to granddaughters Jeri and Mallory and great granddaughter Karoline, they shared a very special bond. Linda's life was enriched by her membership and participation in the Racine Methodist Church, where she found spiritual fulfillment and community. As a proud member of the Red Hat Society, she treasured the friendships and camaraderie she shared with her fellow members. Her best friend and partner in crime, Kay Warden, was a source of joy and companionship, bringing laughter and adventure into Linda's life. Predeceased by her brothers Bob and Charles (Gloria) Mallory, brother-in-law George Albert (Rita) Hill, James Ray Hill. Linda's memory is now lovingly carried forward by her surviving brother, Lynn (Becky) Mallory, her brother-in-law Clarence (Dottie) Hill, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including her dear niece Brandi (Jason) Stewart and great-nephew Lance Stewart. Linda's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the friends and staff at Overbrook, whose care and companionship enriched her final year. The visits and love shared by family and friends are a testament to the bonds she nurtured throughout her life. As we bid farewell to Linda, we take comfort in knowing that God has welcomed a beautiful angel into His arms. In honor of Linda's life and spirit, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. As we remember Linda, let us celebrate the warmth and love she bestowed upon us, keeping her memory alive in our hearts forever.
