In Loving Memory of Linda Sherieff Linda Sherieff, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026. Born on May 20, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda was the cherished daughter of Elder Samuel and Piper Sherieff. She was a beacon of love and kindness, who dedicated her life to her family, faith, and community. Linda's journey of compassion and service began with her education at Cuyahoga Community College, where she proudly earned an Associate's Degree in Psychology in 1987. Her passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling career at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served with dedication for 32 years until her retirement. Her colleagues and patients alike knew her for her sweet nature and giving spirit, a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her. A devoted member of Pleasant Place Ministries, Linda found immense joy and comfort in her faith. Her brother-in-law, James Wallace, often spoke of Linda’s profound devotion and her love for the Lord, which she expressed through poetry, books, and videos of her performances. Writing was Linda’s sanctuary, a place where her gentle soul found expression and where she connected deeply with others. Linda's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Nyema, Gabriel, Brittany Robinson-Kelly, Timothy, Jessica Robinson-Reese, and Rueben. Her legacy lives on in her eight grandchildren—Aaliyah, Alriel, Ali, Xander, Brielle, Nora, Bailey, and Leilani. All of whom held a special place in her heart. Linda leaves behind her siblings Piper, Samuel (Late), Rueben, Al, Dondra, Joseph, James, and Deronda, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has sent flowers and condolences during this difficult time. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Word Church, located at 18909 S Miles Rd, Cleveland, OH 44128. All who knew and loved Linda are welcome to attend and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Linda’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to giving and service. Linda Sherieff will be remembered for her boundless love, her poetic soul, and her unwavering faith.
