It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Faye Bryan, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on May 6, 2026, at the age of 64. Linda passed away peacefully in the hospital, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on October 19, 1961, in the close-knit community of Covington, Kentucky, Linda was the beloved daughter of Joyce Ann Henson and Cliff Earl Henson, both of whom predeceased her. Linda's early life was marked by the nurturing environment her parents provided, setting the foundation for the compassionate and resilient woman she became. Linda graduated from Holmes High School in 1979, where she formed lifelong friendships and discovered her passion for hospitality, a field in which she would leave an indelible mark. Her career flourished as she took the helm of the "Quack Shack," a unique floating restaurant, where her warmth and dedication to service made every guest feel like family. Her leadership turned the "Quack Shack" into a beloved local institution, celebrated for its lively atmosphere and the genuine care Linda infused into every aspect of the business. In 1984, Linda married the love of her life, David White, with whom she shared 30 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising three wonderful children: Rusty White and his spouse Kimberly White, Elishia White, and Nikki White. Linda's legacy of love and kindness lives on through her eight treasured grandchildren: Branden Arnold, Marcus Arnold, Symantha White, Jeremiah Noland, Nick Noland, Addisyn Noland, Lilly White, and Fletcher White. Each grandchild was a source of immense joy and pride for Linda, and she delighted in every moment spent with them. Linda's life was a testament to the power of love and community. Her home was always open, a place where friends and family gathered to share in her infectious laughter and delicious meals. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, touching countless lives with her generosity and kindness. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on May 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Linda's memory and the beautiful life she led. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospital staff who provided exceptional care and compassion to Linda in her final days.
