It is with profound sadness and heartfelt reverence that we announce the passing of Sis. Linda Darnell Foster-Bey, who departed this world on February 18, 2026, at the age of 54. Sis. Linda passed away peacefully at her home in Philadelphia, PA, due to respiratory difficulties. Born on September 19, 1971, in Philadelphia, Sis. Linda was the only child of Mary Ellen Foster. Sis. Linda love of education lead to many achievements. Sis. Linda's thirst for knowledge led her to earn a Diploma from the Department of Education in December 2013. Linda's passion for music was evident when she pursued and received a certificate in Piano Performance in December 2015, a testament to her dedication and artistic creativity. As a cherished member of the Moorish Science Temple Of America #11 for over two decades, Sis. Linda received numerous accolades, including an Achievement Award for the successful completion of Phase 3 of the M.S.T of A., Sunday School, showcasing her dedication to her faith and community. In her professional life, Linda exemplified care and compassion as a Certified Nursing Assistant, dedicating her career to private home nursing across several agencies. Sis. Linda's personal joys were found in her love of learning, reading, and playing the piano. She delighted in creating colorful latch hook rugs and found companionship in her beloved pets, who were a constant source of joy and comfort in her life. As we bid farewell to Sis. Linda, we do so with heavy hearts. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a guiding light for all who were fortunate to know her.
