Linda Boston, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left this world on October 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 31, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois, Linda graced the world with her nurturing spirit and unwavering kindness. She was a beacon of warmth and compassion whose presence enriched the lives of everyone she met.
Raised by her loving parents, Jerry and Pearline Boston, Linda was imbued with values that would define her life. She was predeceased by her cherished mother, Pearline, whose memory she held dear. Linda leaves behind a devoted family, including her father Jerry, siblings Desiree, Alison, Terrell, Joshua, Alexander, and Willie Boston, along with her treasured nephews and a grandchild who brought immense joy to her life.
Linda was a proud graduate of Cohen High School in Chicago, Illinois. Driven by a deep-seated desire to care for others, she pursued her passion by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role she dedicated over 30 years to. Her career was more than just a job; it was a testament to her selfless nature and her commitment to providing comfort and care to those in need.
As an active member of the Fellowship Fight Freedom Temple Church, Linda's faith was her guiding light. Her devotion to her community and her church was inspiring, and she found joy in the fellowship and shared purpose these connections provided.
Linda's personal life was a tapestry of love and togetherness. She had a special talent for bringing people together, whether through cooking, organizing family reunions, or simply spending quality time with her family. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of a close-knit family.
Linda's spirit of generosity extended beyond her family and friends. She supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that was close to her heart. In honor of her memory, her family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Linda's remarkable life. Her family finds comfort in the words of 2 Timothy 4:7 NIV: "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith," a testament to Linda's unwavering strength and faith throughout her journey.
Though Linda's earthly presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
