She passed away at Eagle Pointe Assisted Living Facility in Goldsboro, North Carolina, surrounded by the love and care that she so generously gave to others throughout her life. Linda was born on April 22, 1942, in the quaint town of Warwick, Rhode Island, to the late Myer and Zelda Weinburg. From a young age, she exhibited a profound compassion for animals and a love for creating warm, inviting spaces, passions that would guide her throughout her life. In her professional life, Linda found her calling at a local veterinary clinic. Her dedication to the well-being of animals was unparalleled, and her tireless efforts to advocate for stray and lost animals left a lasting impact on the community. She was known for her unwavering commitment to nurturing and finding homes for those in need, a testament to her boundless empathy and kindness. Linda's love for animals was only matched by her passion for antiques. Her home was a beautiful tapestry of history, filled with treasures she meticulously collected over the years. Her children fondly remember the many adventures they shared, exploring antique shops and flea markets in search of the perfect piece to add to her extensive collection. These cherished memories are a testament to the joy she brought to those around her. Above all, Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her beloved husband, James E. Hines, she is survived by her loving children, Keith Alan Hines and Lisa Ann Jaramillo, daughter-in-law Tara Page Hines, and her adored grandchildren Sydney Hines, Ali Cantello, Alyssa Jaramillo, Alexis Akins Dagnachew, Dale Hines, Kyle Judd, and Kristina Ruth. Linda's legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren, Maeve & Jude Hudson, and Athena Jaramillo. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she found immense joy in their happiness and successes. Linda's family wishes to express their profound gratitude to the staff at Eagle Pointe Assisted Living Facility for their kindness and compassionate care during her final days. Their support was a source of comfort and peace for Linda and her loved ones. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life.
