It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Ann Powell, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, who departed this world on March 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Linda was born on May 24, 1961, in Fanwood, NJ, to Frank and Nancy Donatelli, who, along with her sister Carol and grandmother, have predeceased her. Linda's journey through life was marked by unwavering strength and a compassionate heart. She was a woman of conviction, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need. Her strong will and boundless generosity made her a cornerstone for her family and friends, who cherished her presence and guidance. In 1982, Linda married her beloved husband, George Powell, in a heartfelt ceremony at St. Joseph's in Lakeland. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, filled with warmth and mutual respect. George, along with Linda's surviving brother, Frank Donatelli, her cherished aunt, Pat Mann, sister-in-law Kimberly and her husband Mark Keeton, and nephew Sean Dobbins, remain to celebrate her life and legacy. Linda was a proud graduate of Lakeland High School, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. Her professional journey saw her dedicatedly serving the community through her work at Publix and later at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent worker whose smile could light up a room. A devoted member of Free Life Chapel, Linda found strength and solace in her faith, which she shared generously with her church community. Her love for life was further expressed through her hobbies. Linda found joy in assembling intricate puzzles and cherished the companionship of her dogs. In her younger years, the beach was her sanctuary, a place where she felt at peace with the world. Her passion for thrift shopping showcased her keen eye for hidden treasures and her love for adventure in everyday life. Linda's memory will be forever treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness. Her life was a testament to the power of a generous spirit and an unwavering heart, attributes that will continue to inspire her family and friends. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a local animal shelter in Linda's name, as a tribute to her love for her four-legged companions. Linda Ann Powell, whose life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and unwavering support, will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before her.
