Born on November 2, 1953, in Bennettsville, South Carolina, Lillie was the cherished daughter of Mary Lee and John David (JD) McManus. She grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of her family, which shaped her into the kind and loving person she became.
Lillie's life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion. For 43 beautiful years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Michael Warren, following a long and lovingly nurtured courtship. Together, they built a family rooted in love and mutual respect, welcoming three wonderful children: Tony McManus, Daniel McManus, and Kimberly Warren-Garner. Lillie's heart expanded with each new addition to her family, which grew to include two precious grandchildren, Tyler McManus and Collin McManus, and a great-grandchild who brought her immense joy.
As a sister, Lillie was a steadfast and loving presence, creating a tapestry of memories with her siblings, James Robert McManus, James Wilson McManus, William McManus, and Elouise Rogers. Her family was her pride and joy, and she expressed her love through her passion for cooking, often gathering them around the table to enjoy her famous pasta salad and other culinary delights.
Lillie's life was deeply enriched by her spirituality and unwavering faith as a devoted servant of Jehovah for 42 years. Her gentle spirit and warmth made her a beacon of kindness, always ready to offer a listening ear and compassionate words.
