In Loving Memory of
Lilia Gurango Balanon
April 2, 1939 - October 24, 2026
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lilia Gurango Balanon, at the age of 87.
Born in the Philippines, Lilia was a devoted daughter, loving mother, and cherished family member. She came from a family of seven siblings, and she leaves behind one beloved brother, Junior, and one beloved sister, Agon, who continue to live in the Philippines.
Throughout her life, Lilia was known for her strength, hard work, and unwavering love for her family. Whenever she was able, she worked hard to provide for her loved ones and always put her family first. Her greatest joy was caring for the people she loved, and she made many sacrifices to ensure their well-being and happiness.
Her life was a beautiful example of love, dedication, and perseverance. She taught her family the importance of putting loved ones first, staying strong through life’s challenges, and cherishing the bonds that keep a family together.
Although her passing leaves a deep sadness in our hearts, the love she gave, the sacrifices she made, and the precious memories she created will remain with us forever. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, relatives, and everyone whose life she touched.
Mom, thank you for your unconditional love, your strength, and everything you did for our family. We will forever be grateful for the years we shared with you. Though we can no longer hold your hand, we will carry your love in our hearts every day.
You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Rest peacefully, our beloved Lilia. Your love will live on in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.
Lilia is survived by her seven children Orville, Rose, Vincent, Irene, Lily, Paul, Bert. Her eleven grandchildren Gelli and Jao (Orville), Luke, Jamie, Royanne and Megan (Rose), Joshua and Jasmine (Lily), Maxine, Jacob and Jeremiah (Bert). Her three great grandchildren Mia, Alia and Jesse Junior (Maxine).
