In Loving Memory of Lesego Refiloe Mongalo It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lesego Refiloe Mongalo, who departed this life on the 7th of June, 2025, after a courageous battle with an illness. Lesego was born on the 7th of February, 2000, in South Africa, and from the very beginning, they brought joy and light to all who knew them. Lesego was the cherished child of the late Mmapula and John Mongalo, who have lovingly welcomed them into the embrace of eternity, along with four beloved siblings who predeceased them. Lesego's enduring spirit and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of their surviving siblings: Lebohang, Dimakatso, Lehlohonolo, Mongalo, Kamohelo, and Oratile. Their bond, so deeply rooted in love and shared memories, remains unbroken even in the face of loss. Lesego's journey through life was marked by resilience, determination, and a thirst for knowledge. They proudly matriculated from Orlando High with a bachelor's pass in 2018, setting a powerful example of dedication and hard work for all who followed in their footsteps. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Lesego's gentle spirit are invited to join us in a celebration of their life on the 14th of June, 2025, at St. Mary Church, located at 712 Orlando Drive, opposite the shops. The service will begin at 08:00, as we gather to honor the beautiful life that Lesego led and to find solace in each other’s company. In this time of sorrow, the Mongalo family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support and condolences. Special thanks are directed to the Itireleng Hospice for the care and love they showed Lesego during their illness. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of great comfort in our darkest hour. Lesego Refiloe Mongalo will forever be remembered for the love they gave, the lives they touched, and the courage they displayed. Though their earthly journey has ended, their legacy of love and strength will live on in all those who had the privilege of knowing them. May Lesego rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before them and cherished by those left behind.
