Lesa was the cherished daughter of Ray and Jenna Aley, who predeceased her and now welcome her into eternal peace. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts: her beloved sister, Sandra Powell of Plano, TX, and her brother, Danny Aley of Odessa, TX. Her legacy is lovingly carried forward by her daughter, Rachel Strickland of Midland, TX, and her son, Daniel Benton and his wife, Ladonna of Carson City, NV.
Lesa's love for her family was the cornerstone of her existence. Her grandchildren, Jordan Hernandez and her husband, Antonio Hernandez III of Midland, Mikayla Strickland of Midland, and Luke, Lexie, and Jacob Benton of Carson City, NV, were her pride and joy. She was also blessed with a great-grandson, Antonio Hernandez IV, whose presence brought her boundless happiness. Her nieces, Janet Martin and Jennifer Shreiner of Celina, TX, and Julie Castle of Elk Grove, CA, were also dear to her heart.
In her lifetime, Lesa found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for baking and cooking was a reflection of her nurturing spirit, with every meal prepared with love and care. Her kitchen was often filled with the aroma of her delicious creations, each dish a testament to her dedication and affection for her loved ones. She also found delight in the quiet joy of watching her favorite game shows and reality TV programs such as The Voice, Big Brother, and America’s Got Talent.
Lesa's greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren, who filled her life with laughter and joy. Each moment shared with them was a cherished memory, enriching her life with love and laughter.
