Born on May 25, 1951, in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland, Les was the beloved son of Les and Gladys. For 25 years, Les devoted himself to education as a primary school teacher in Scotland. He inspired his students and fostered an environment of curiosity and growth. Colleagues and pupils alike remember him as a teacher who brought warmth and wisdom to the classroom. Les was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Peggy, with whom he shared 39 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was an example of enduring love and partnership. He was also a cherished brother to Gladys, a proud father to his adult children, Mandy and Philip, and grandfather to his two grandsons Alistair and Cameron who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Roberta and Robert, whose unwavering commitment brought comfort and meaning to Les' final days. Les Rae will be remembered for his gregarious spirit, his dedication to education, his love of history, every kind of music and his unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
