LeRoy Stanley White, a cherished son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 3, 1956, in Kankakee, Illinois, LeRoy was the beloved son of Eddie Mae White and LeRoy John White. His life was defined by love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. LeRoy's journey was marked by his exceptional talent and passion for dentistry. After completing his education at Northwestern University Dental School, he went on to become a Master Technician Denturist. His work not only restored smiles but also brought joy and confidence to those he served. LeRoy's innate ability to connect with people made him a favorite among his colleagues and patients alike, as he never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with warmth and kindness. Outside of his professional life, LeRoy was a man of many interests and talents. An avid musician, his love for drum percussions was infectious, and he spent countless hours immersed in the rhythms and beats that brought him joy. He also found solace in the tranquility of fishing, the joy of dancing, and the excitement of travel, all of which painted a vibrant canvas of his life. LeRoy was predeceased by his father, LeRoy J. White; step-father, Aaron K. White; sister, Joanie C. White; nephew, Jymel Lilliard; grandmother, Alma Williams; and a host of uncles and aunts, all of whom he now joins in eternal rest. LeRoy's magnetic personality and generous spirit were cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Eddie Mae White, his loving daughter, Courtney Johnson (Marquez Johnson), and his siblings, Beverly Fair, Pamela Hinds, Dean Westbrook, Jamie White, Tiffany White, Candace White, and Victor Wilkins. He also leaves behind his special friend, Maggie Patta, along with a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold his memory close. A service to celebrate LeRoy's life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at McCray Family Funeral Service, located at 2357 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30318. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to a American Heart Association in LeRoy's memory. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Emory University Hospital for their compassionate and dedicated care during LeRoy's final days. As the family attests, LeRoy will remain "Forever in our hearts."
