Leroy departed this world peacefully on April 3, 2026. He was 95 years old. Born on December 6, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia, Lee’s life was a testament to dedication, service, and kindness. Lee proudly served his country in the United States Army for 24 years. His military service was a source of immense pride. After his military career, Lee worked in the healthcare industry, dedicating 38 years of service to Group Health and Kaiser. He was known for his professionalism and concern for the well-being of his colleagues and patients. Lee’s personal life was equally rewarding. For 63 years, he was the devoted husband of Margaret Moore. Together, they built a family filled with laughter and fun. Leroy is survived by his sons, David (Celeste) and Chris (Vickie). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Brett, Amy (Nik), and Alec, and his great-grandchild, Emma, who were the pride if his life. An avid golfer and member of the McCord Men's Club, Lee’s passion for the sport was unmatched. He was playing golf three days a week, even up until his final days. Those who knew Lee will forever remember his infectious smile, his kind heart, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. Leroy Moore's life was a testament of the profound impact one individual can have. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
