Born on August 19, 1958, in the close-knit community of Sylvester, Georgia, Leroy was the cherished son of Mary Ann Williams and Leroy Jackson Sr. He now joins his parents in eternal rest. Leroy was a man who exemplified dedication and perseverance, committing 25 years of his life to his career as a professional truck driver with Werner Enterprises. His work was not just a means of providing for his family, but a testament to his steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment. Throughout his career, he built countless friendships and earned the respect and admiration of those he worked alongside. Beyond his professional life, Leroy found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, often finding tranquility by the water's edge. Leroy's greatest joy, however, was derived from the time spent with his family and friends. His warm spirit, gentle wisdom, and loving nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Leroy's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Kimesha Jackson, who stood by his side through life's journey. He leaves behind his two daughters, NeKoshia and Kemaiya Jackson, who were the light of his life and whom he loved deeply. Leroy also leaves behind his dear sisters, Amanda Clark and Brittany Jackson, who shared in his life's joys and challenges. In addition, a memorial service celebrating Leroy’s life will take place on June 28, 2026.
